The 2024 NFL Draft will get underway on Thursday night in Detroit.

Tennessee has seen five players selected in each of the last two NFL drafts.

2023:
Darnell Wright (First round, Chicago Bears)
Hendon Hooker (Third round, Detroit Lions)
Jalin Hyatt (Third round, New York Giants)
Cedric Tillman (Third round, Cleveland Browns)
Byron Young (Third round, Los Angeles Rams)

2022:
Alontae Taylor (Second round, New Orleans Saints)
Velus Jones Jr (Third round, Chicago Bears)
Matthew Butler (Fifth round, Las Vegas Raiders)
Cade Mays (Sixth round, Carolina Panthers)
Theo Jackson (Sixth round, Tennessee Titans)

Tennessee is expected to have several players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but they likely won't have five players selected as they have in each of the last two previous drafts.

Here are the former Tennessee players that could be selected in this year's draft.

Jaylen Wright — Running Back: Wright should be the first Vol off the board. He's widely viewed as the second best running back in the draft. There's a chance he sneaks into the second round, but the third round is when fans should start listening for Wright's name to be called.

Joe Milton — Quarterback: Milton will likely be drafted thanks to his elite physical skills and upside. But he likely won't be selected until the later rounds (sixth or seventh round).

Kamal Hadden — Cornerback: Hadden is one of the more underrated players in the draft, mostly due to the shoulder injury that prematurely ended his 2023 season at Tennessee. Hadden has great athleticism, which should lead to a team taking a chance on him. Fans should start listening for Hadden's name in the middle rounds of the draft. He'll likely be selected in the round four to round seven range.

McCallan Castles — Tight End: Castles will get a chance in the NFL, but I'm not sure he'll be drafted. He could be destined to land with a team as an undrafted free agent. Castles did have a nice pro day, so it's possible he sneaks into the seventh round, but that's far from a guarantee.

Jabari Small — Running Back: Small is a player to watch after the draft when the undrafted free agent deals start going down. It's very unlikely he's selected in the draft, but he should still get a chance in the NFL. He could be an ideal third down back for a team thanks to his strong pass protection skills.

Ramel Keyton — Wide Receiver: Keyton is another Vol that should land an undrafted free agent deal after the draft. Keyton has already met with some NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins, so he should receive some NFL interest, but he likely won't be drafted.

Dee Williams — Returner: Williams should get a shot in the NFL thanks to new rules that make kickoff returners more valuable. Does that mean he'll be drafted? I tend to think his path to the NFL is through an undrafted free agent deal. But we aren't sure how NFL teams will value returners in light of the new kickoff rules. We can't rule out a team taking a flier on Williams in the seventh round.
