Former Tennessee Vols pitcher Ben Joyce is well known for his velocity.

Joyce routinely topped 100 MPH during his time at Tennessee. And times, he'd touch 105 MPH on the radar gun.

The Knoxville native was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the third round of the 2022 MLB Draft.

Joyce is currently pitching in spring training for the Angels. And he's showing some of the star potential that everyone saw at Tennessee.

On Friday, Joyce made Kansas City Royals outfielder Tucker Bradley look completely silly.

And the best part for Joyce is that it wasn't with his blazing fastball. Instead, it was his slider that did the trick.

Check out Bradley's flailing attempt to hit Joyce's slider.

Joyce hasn't even come close to reaching his ceiling yet. He has the potential to be a major problem in MLB — as long as he stays healthy (always a concern with guys who throw hard).
