Just moments after Super Bowl LVII ended with a Kansas City Chiefs victory on Sunday night, sports books around the country began previewing the 2023-2024 NFL season with updated futures odds on every team's chances of taking home Super Bowl LVIII.

Are these odds way too early? Obviously. So much is still subject to change around the NFL over the course of the offseason. Over 10 teams are still wondering who their quarterback is going to be next season.

These early odds, however, can be a good estimator of which teams are prepared to take the next step this offseason via free agency and the draft, and which teams will be hard pressed to build their roster into a playoff contender for next year.

The Tennessee Titans opened at +7000 to win Super Bowl LVIII, giving them the 27th best odds in the NFL according to BetMGM.com.

In the days since, the Titans' odds have improved to +6600, but they remain with the 27th best shot to hoist the Lombardi. BetMGM has Tennessee with the same odds as the Chicago Bears, who went 3-14 last season.

The Commanders, Steelers, Panthers, Broncos, Browns, Saints, and Rams were all among the teams predicted to have a significantly better shot at the Super Bowl than the Titans.

Obviously, Tennessee can not be a favorite given the disappointing 2022 season and the current holes in their roster, but 27th best in the NFL at +660 feels like really good value for this group. The Titans still have Mike Vrabel, one of the best coaches in the NFL calling the shots for them. The Titans still have Derrick Henry, a generational talent in the backfield and one of the most dominant rushers in the game. The Titans will also be getting Harold Landry III back from his torn ACL and pair him with Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry, Kevin Byard, and other playmakers on defense.

If the Titans can sure up their offensive line, add a weapon or two in free agency, and keep more of their players healthy in 2023, there's no reason why this team cannot make another run at the AFC Playoffs.

27th feels really disrespectful for a team that almost limped into the playoffs with practically everything going wrong last season.
