To put it lightly, the Tennessee Titans’ offense hasn’t inspired much confidence amongst the fanbase in 2022.

For a unit with such a slim margin of error as it currently stands, the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense will require Ryan Tannehill’s offense to play its sharpest game yet in order to leave Philly victorious.

To many fans chagrin, success in the Titans' offense is defined by limiting turnovers. While most would consider that to be a terribly low standard to set for a group that features the best running back in football, it’s an unfortunate reality for Tennessee.

However, playing a clean game is paramount when going up against an opportunistic defense like the one in Philadelphia.

The Eagles lead the NFL with 23 takeaways on the year. Safety C.J. Gardner Johnson leads the league with six interceptions on the season, while cornerbacks Darius Slay and James Bradberry have three apiece.

Though Gardner-Johnson is out for Sunday's game due to injury, Tannehill and the offense must keep the miscues to a minimum. A tipped pass, wrong route, or bad ball could be the difference in the contest.

Lately, the Titans have played clean football from a turnover standpoint. Tennessee has turned the ball over just twice in its last four games.

Turnover-free football is a trend that must continue if the Titans are to keep pace with a high-flying Eagles offense that doesn’t need any extra opportunities to put teams away.
