2026 Senior Bowl EDGE Prospects To Watch: Underrated players become new headliners to boost draft stock
The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl will be without Rueben Bain Jr. and David Bailey, but underrated prospects like Romello Height and Dani Dennis-Sutton will make some noise.
It’s officially draft season as we head into a critical time of the offseason, and teams will have their eyes on some of the top prospects at the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl.
Coaches, scouts, and front office personnel will be heading to Mobile, Alabama, to meet with prospects they have on their big board while watching them compete against each other. If your team needs an EDGE prospect in this draft, then you’re in luck. Despite the main headliners, Rueben Bain Jr. and David Bailey, not attending anymore, this opens the door for others to impress and watch their draft stock soar from now until April.
EDGE prospects to watch at the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl
Dani Dennis-Sutton, Penn State
Penn State had a nightmare season that nobody expected, and it ended up hurting the draft stock of a couple of their marquee players in the process. Dani Dennis-Sutton was projected as a late-first, early-second round pick, and now could go as late as the third round. Make no mistake, though, Dennis-Sutton is still a top prospect that somebody will get at a great value. Dennis-Sutton plays with a high motor, and he’s as competitive as they come. He totalled 82 pressures and 17 sacks in his final two seasons, and his production will translate to the NFL. His floor is also high as a stout run defender with his 6-5, 265-pound frame.
Romello Height, Texas Tech
Bailey won’t be at the Senior Bowl anymore, but his running mate, Romello Height, will have many highlight plays in one-on-one drills. He has an insane burst in his first step off the line and a relentless pursuit, even when the play doesn’t go his direction. Height is a smaller prospect at 6-2, 240 pounds, but it also allows him to drop into coverage when needed without struggling, and his bend is a problem for offensive tackles. He has an arsenal of pass-rushing moves, which helped him eclipse 62 pressures and 10 sacks in 2025 alone.
Derrick Moore, Michigan
Derrick Moore is one of the more underrated prospects in the draft, and can be one of the biggest risers at the Senior Bowl. He wins easily with his strength at 6-3, 265 pounds, and his arm length is an issue for offensive tackles. Once he deploys his long arm and strikes first, he uses his power and speed to win his reps and get to the quarterback. His twitch and bend surprises blockers at times, and he projects to be a starter for years to come at the next level. Moore also does a great job of stacking in the run game and doesn’t let plays get past him. He finished 2025 with 10 sacks and a 19.8% pass rush win rate.
TJ Parker, Clemson
Clemson was another school that was projected to be a favorite to win the National Championship, but the season didn’t go according to plan. Their defense was a big disappointment with all the talent they had coming back, and TJ Parker was one of the leaders. He’s still projected to go in the late-first or early-second round of the draft, but don’t be surprised if he sneaks into the top-20. Parker might be one of the safest EDGE prospects in the draft as a powerful pass rusher and a high-end run stopper at 6-3, 260 pounds. He was also an early declare as a junior, so he has even more room to develop, which is great news considering how productive he’s been already with 16 sacks in the last two seasons.
