A lot of new faces will be playing for the Chicago Bears in 2026.
The start of the free agency frenzy has arrived. The Chicago Bears have already made some major moves to the roster heading into the second season under head coach Ben Johnson.
There’s going to be a lot to keep up with as the Bears are expected to make even more moves over the next few days. The legal tampering period will kick off on Monday, March 9 at 12 p.m. ET and the new league year officially starts on Wednesday, March 11 at 4 p.m. ET., which will be the window for free agents to sign with any team they chose.

Chicago Bears 2026 Free Agency Moves
Acquired / Signed Players:
- C Garrett Bradbury – Bradbury was traded to the Chicago Bears from the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick.
- DT Neville Gallimore – Gallimore signed a two-year, $10 million deal.
- S Coby Bryant – Bryant signed a three-year, $40 million deal.
- LB Devin Bush – Bush signed a three-year, $30 million deal.
- WR Kalif Raymond – Raymond signed a one-year, $5.1 million max deal reuniting with Ben Johnson.
- CB Cam Lewis – Lewis signed a two-year deal after seven years with the Bills.
- DE Kentavius Street – Street signed with the Bears to add extra depth on the defensive line.
- OT Jedrick Wills – Wills signed a one-year deal with the Bears to add another LT option.
- DT James Lynch – Lynch signed a one-year deal with the Bears adding more depth to the D-line.

- QB Case Keenum – Keenum signed a two-year, $5.5 million deal max value of $8 million.
- LT Braxton Jones – Jones signed a one-year deal worth up to $10 million.
- S Elijah Hicks – Hicks signed a one-year deal to provide depth at the safety position.
- OL Jordan McFadden – McFadden signed a one-year deal to return with the Bears.

- C Drew Dalman – Dalman announced his retirement from the NFL at 27-years-old.
- WR DJ Moore – Moore was traded to the Buffalo Bills along with a 2026 fifth-round pick in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick.
- LB Amen Ogbongbemiga – Ogbongbemiga was released clearing around $2 million in cap space.
- LB Tremaine Edmunds – Edmunds signed a three-year, $36 million deal with the New York Giants.
- WR Olamide Zaccheaus – Zaccheaus is expected to return to the Atlanta Falcons.
