Even though we are still a month away until the Chicago Bears edition of HBO's "Hard Knocks" kicks off at training camp, we already got a taste of what first overall pick Caleb Williams will look like on the big screen.

Currently, HBO has been rolling out a new "Hard Knocks" series focusing on the New York Giants offseason, that included never before seen content from free agency and leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft.

During this week's episode that aired last night, the show brought fans inside the pre-draft meeting rooms where the Giants met with various top prospects in the class.

Williams was one of the featured prospects on the show and he didn't disappoint during his pre-draft meeting. One of the key parts of the meeting showed on the episode involved Williams drawing up the one play he would run if he had to run the same pass play 45 times.

Williams was quick to answer the question after thinking about it, drawing up his ideal play and it was one that Giants head coach Brian Daboll had seen many times working with an eventual Pro Football Hall of Famer.

The play involved a slot fade as one of the reads and after talking through the play with Daboll noted he used to run that exact play a bunch with Brett Favre as his quarterback while serving as the New York Jets quarterbacks coach.

Here's the full clip from last night's episode.

The segment not only showed Williams' high level thought processing when it comes to diagraming and breaking down a play, but also the confidence he has in his ability to put the ball where it needed to go depending on the coverage. As Daboll explained, hitting that slot fade is a difficult throw to make to beat the safety, and Williams said he can make that throw with no hesitation.

Despite the Giants interests in moving up in the draft, the number one pick was never on the table, which is where the team needed to be if they wanted to take Williams for themselves. As a result, he landed in Chicago where the Bears coaches have been praising all of the same reviews all offseason.

"I think that Caleb is a talent," head coach Matt Eberflus said. "A very good talent. His game will go to where it needs to be."

It was a nice teaser for what fans should expect to see out of Williams and they'll get to see even more once the team returns for training camp and the cameras roll in to film the Bears version of "Hard Knocks." He's a special talent and more people are starting to realize that on a national stage.
