It's been a very heavy day for the Chicago Bears. Defensive Coordinator Alan Williams has been absent from the team and there's been a lot of speculation as to why. It was reported on Wednesday that Halas Hall, the Bears practice facility was raided by the FBI on Wednesday morning.
After Williams resigned from the team on Wednesday, the Bears put out a statement saying that report is false and that the police have not been to Halas Hall for anything regarding Williams.
There is no word yet as to whether or not Williams home was raided, but the Bears have denied their end of things.
As for why Williams suddenly resigned, he addressed that in a statement he released shortly after his resignation.
