The Chicago Bears got a solid look at some important position groups on Saturday during Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Combine and could come away with multiple prospects that performed during the day.

On Saturday, the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs took part in their on-field testings and produced record-breaking numbers.

The only downside to the day was missing out on seeing quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels in action along with wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers, all of whom could be on the Bears' draft radar. Beyond those exceptions, here are three players who looked impressive on Saturday that the Bears could explore selecting in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Washington WR Rome Odunze

With Harrison Jr. and Nabers sitting out from the on-field testings, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze received a lot of the spotlight as a potential Top-10 selection.

Odunze was listed as the #3 prospect on NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah's Top-50 2.0 list and we were able to see why on Saturday. He measured in at a solid size at 6'2, 212 pounds. Testing wise, his 4.45 40-yard dash, 39 inch vertical, and 4.03 shuttle all produced elite composite scores. Odunze had similar measurements and numbers at the Combine to former Pro Bowl WRs Larry Fitzgerald and A.J. Green.

The potential top wide receiver in the draft more than proved his hype on Saturday and even showed his competitive spirit after remaining until he was the last one on the field trying to secure a sub-6.6 3-cone time. This guy was as advertised and is completely in play for the Bears with the ninth overall pick.

Texas WR Adonai Mitchell

The Texas wide receiver room showed out on Saturday with Xavier Worthy breaking the 40-yard dash record with a 4.21 time and Adonai Mitchell posting an all-around insane athletic performance on the field.

Both players now will likely be out of the Bears' draft range considering they currently have no selections between #9 in the first round and #75 in the third round. However, depending on the return of a potential Justin Fields trade, the Bears could find themselves with a newly acquired second round pick.

If that's the case, Mitchell should definitely be a target the Bears should consider in that range. Mitchell posted an 11'4 broad jump and a 4.34 40-yard dash time which each ranked in the Top-3 among all wide receivers. He performed like the freak athlete he's shown on the field and boosted his stock tremendously.

Louisville RB Isaac Guerendo

In terms of the running back class, this group proved to be stronger than expected going into the Combine and the Bears would be wise to pursue a prospect in this class. Chicago drafted Roschon Johnson in 2023 but starting running back Khalil Herbert will be entering into the final year of his contract next season.

No matter who's at quarterback, the Bears need to surround that player with top talent on offense and Johnson/Herbert won't cut it in the long-term. One prospect who turned my head multiple times was Louisville running back Isaac Guerendo.

Guerendo's nearly perfect 9.99 RAS score ranked second "out of 1,745 running backs from 1987 to 2024". At 6'0, 221 pounds, Guerendo recorded the fastest 40-yard dash at his position (4.33) and had a 41.5 inch vertical. He finished his day listed among some of the best running back performances in Combine history. If the Bears find themselves looking at Guerendo on the board, there should be no hesitation.
