There is a big reason why players like playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Besides the rich history and the winning culture, Andy Reid's presence as head coach adds a layer that other teams don't have.

He is the ultimate players' coach because he instills confidence in his players like no other. Even when they mess up, he lets them know he has the utmost faith and respect for them to do well the very next play, and that is what we saw on Sunday.

Kadarius Toney returned a punt against the Denver Broncos and what happened next wasn't great. No, he didn't muff the punt, as he managed to get down the field, but he eventually fumbled the ball away, which gave the Broncos great field position.

Reid went right back to Toney after that by drawing up a pass play for him, and it worked. He showed that he still had confidence in his guy, and Toney loved that.

“I appreciate that, really because it’s like you get your confidence back," Toney told reporters after the win. "You might mess up or something like that and it gives you an opportunity to get your confidence.”

This team has had a problem on special teams this year, especially on punt returns. Rookie Skyy Moore has muffed and lost several punts this season, which is why Toney is back there now.

This play didn't help either. But, Reid just wanted to get his dynamic receiver the ball, that way his confidence is back. You have to appreciate the way he does things.
