The Kansas City Chiefs won't have it easy against the Houston Texans on Sunday. It never is on this team, even if they are up 24 and the Chiefs still end up winning by 20 in the AFC Championship.

But if you think the Chiefs will just cruise by, I have a few things to say to you.

First, you must not have been watching this team this season. Look at last week, and look at the Colts game.

B, if you didn't watch the Texans play the Cowboys last week, you may need to go rewatch that. The Texans could have easily won that game, but some bad decisions saw them lose their three-point lead at the end of the game after getting a crucial interception.

The Texans may be 1-11-1, but they are not a team that is an easy win. They have one thing the Chiefs have to prepare for, and Justin Reid, who was on the Texans last season, knows that too.

“Well yeah, you’re preparing for two different quarterbacks, so a lot of focus ends up being who’s the guy under center and that changes how they’re going to play a little bit,” Reid said on Wednesday.

Davis Mills is a guy that can easily throw it from the pocket. Their second-year quarterback has made some pretty nice throws this season. His 2,319 passing yards lead the team.

However, he has one more interception than he does his 11 touchdowns on the season in 11 games played.

Jeff Driskel has been a guy the last few weeks, that the Texans use a lot in RPO (run-pass-option) situations, along with read options. He has nine rushes for 51 yards, which is the best yards per carry on the team with 5.7.

The Chiefs will have to prepare for that. I mean, it may not seem like much, but the Cowboys, who have one of the best defenses in the league, struggled with it last Sunday. The Texans finished with 327 total yards, 213 passing, and 114 rushing.

The Chiefs should still get the job done, but they will definitely need to watch for what could be a huge issue. Let's also not forget about Dameon Pierce, the rookie running back who could surpass 1,000 rushing yards on the season on Sunday.
