One of the biggest variables from last season for the Kansas City Chiefs is having a good training camp.

Sure, Marquez Valdes-Scantling didn't have the loudest regular season. However, he did his job when it came time to make plays. All you need to do is turn on the tape from the postseason to see that. MVS is one of the biggest variables from last season because of his size and abilities.

He is one of the receivers returning for year two in this system and is consistently healthy. Also, he is having a great training camp just when Kadarius Toney is out with an injury.

The training camp he is having isn't being talked about enough. We know he is having a great training camp because we don't hear his name at all. Do you know what they say? They aren't doing anything wrong if you don't hear their name.

However, MVS is doing something right, especially when you look at a recent clip the Chiefs posted on Twitter.

In the video, MVS went up and snagged a one-handed catch that was thrown right over the middle for a touchdown, where he was seemingly wide open.

Toney's injury has allowed him to step into the WR1 role in training camp, and I think he has done a nice job. Not to mention, he is becoming a great mentor and leader too.

"[Valdes-Scantling] has [made] a great impact. I look at MVS [Marquez Valdes-Scantling] as a big brother for sure," Justyn Ross explained. "He's always that guy that's going to want you to finish [each] rep; he's always going to want you to finish the catch and everything like that, so I look at MVS as a big brother for sure."

MVS is a guy that needs some more love because he can cause some damage in this offense against the opposing team's defenses.
