The first two phases of the 2023 NFL offseason is officially behind us. After a great free agency and draft, now we look ahead to training camp. But, there is one more thing before we get there.

The Kansas City Chiefs have some really good teams lined up on their 2023 schedule, and this year, I wouldn't say there is any games that are "give me" games, or free wins, I should say. Of course, this is the NFL, so you aren't really supposed to have that mindset, but I think we are all guilty of it from time-to-time.

They have several games that are on primetime TV that I think shouldn't be, and could end up getting flexed for other matchups. For example, of the seven primetime games they have, the Week 15 Monday night game against the patriots and the Week 13 Sunday night football game against the Packers could get flexed., Obviously as far as Week 18, we just won't know until we get closer.

The Chiefs find themselves playing three division opponents in three weeks before the bye week, two against the Denver Broncos. I feel like for the last few years, there has always been at least one matchup against the Broncos after the bye, and last year it was both games.

This year the Chiefs schedule looks a bit different in terms of structure. Of course, there is the Germany game, and there is also the games against every playoff opponent they have had the last two years, all but one in the second half of the season. Last year, the final stretch of the season were fairly easy opponents. Now it looks to be different.
