It's no secret that the Kansas City Chiefs are the class of the NFL right now, but in case opposing fans/players forgot, Patrick Mahomes reminded everyone on Wednesday.

During the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVII celebration parade on Wednesday, Mahomes took the mic to remind folks that Kansas City doesn't rebuild — they just keep winning.

"Before we started this season, the AFC West said we were rebuilding," said Mahomes. "I'm going to be honest with you — I don't know what rebuilding means. In our rebuilding year, we're world champs. I just want to say we appreciate everybody here today. Arrowhead Stadium is one of a kind and we just want to say Chiefs Kingdom is one of a kind, so give a round of applause for everyone standing here today."

"This is just the beginning, we ain't done yet," added Mahomes.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce echoed Mahomes' sentiments.

"Let me take you back to 2022 in the month of maybe April, maybe," said Kelce. "Guys were getting signed left and right. The haters were saying that the Chiefs would never make the playoffs, the haters were saying the Chiefs were done. If you knew the Chiefs were going to win the division, let me hear you say, hell yeah! If you knew the Chiefs were going to get the No. 1 seed, let me hear you say, hell yeah"

"I knew it, you it, but they didn't know it," added Kelce. "If you knew that Patrick Mahomes was going to win MVP, let me hear you say, hell yeah."

The Chiefs are the team to beat in the NFL right now. It's not the Bengals, Eagles, Bills, or 49ers. It's Kansas City. It's been Kansas City for a while. And the Chiefs gave everyone a strong reminder of that on Sunday in Arizona.

Mahomes doesn't talk a lot of trash. But he has every right to be feeling himself this week. He's the best quarterback on the planet. And — excuse this cliché — it's not even that close.
