The Kansas City Chiefs are adding a familiar face back into the fold in hopes of another Super Bowl run. Today, they announced that they have officially re-signed running back Jerick McKinnon. 

McKinnon is a dynamic piece to use out of the backfield in both the run and pass game. Patrick Mahomes loves him, and the Chiefs are happy to have him back after he was a key contributor last season en route to a championship.

This was a move that many fans were clamoring for so far this off-season. Ultimately, GM Brett Veach and co. get it done. McKinnon projects to be among the top RB options for KC alongside Isiah Pacheco once again. 

The duo worked out pretty well for the Chiefs a season ago. They'll look to build on that in 2023.
