One of the Kansas City Chiefs star players is trying to reunite with one of his teammates for the 2023 season.

While, yes, winning the Super Bowl is amazing, and it's one of the hardest championships to win in pro sports, the Chiefs dealt with a loss this offseason too. They didn't lose anyone in a way that was devastating like a death, or anything like that. But, instead, they had to let go of one of their all-time players and a guy that will be in the Chiefs' Ring of Honor and the Chiefs' Hall of Fame.

Frank Clark wasn't in Kansas City for long, just since 2019 when he was traded from Seattle, but he was there for all of the memorable moments of recent history. He won two Super Bowls for the Chiefs and climbed up the ranks, for now, third all-time in postseason sacks.

The Chiefs were forced to let him go in the offseason to save $21 million in cap space. It was a move that helped bring in the guys they did in free agency.

There was always a thought that the Chiefs could bring him back maybe on a cheaper deal. Now, one Chiefs star, and his former running mate in Chris Jones, is trying to make that happen.

Jones went to Twitter to tweet at Clark and the Chiefs.

Bringing him back on a cheap one-year deal wouldn't be a bad idea. You bring back an all-time guy and a player who still has some left. Not to mention he could help mentor the young pass rushers like he did last year with George Karlaftis.

Hopefully, the Chiefs saw his tweet.
