Bengals' new OL Orlando Brown gets asked about the trash talk with Chiefs in playoffs
The Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs talked a lot of trash to each other during last season’s playoffs
The Cincinnati Bengals made a splash addition this week by signing offensive tackle Orlando Brown to a four-year deal.
Cincinnati's addition of Brown will bolster the Bengals' offensive line as they attempt to get past the Kansas City Chiefs in 2023.
Brown is expected to play left tackle for Cincinnati, which means Jonah Williams will move to right tackle.
Oddly enough, Brown played for the Chiefs for the last two years. Which means he was front and center for all the trash talk that was flying between Kansas City and Cincinnati before the AFC Championship game this past season.
From the mayor of Cincinnati throwing shade at Patrick Mahomes to "Burrowhead", there was no shortage of trash talk.
So how does Brown feel now that he's crossing enemy lines to join the Bengals?
The new Cincinnati left tackle was asked about it during an appearance on ESPN on Thursday morning.
And Brown made it clear that he's all Bengal now.
"Look man, at the end of the day, who is feeding me and my family, that's who's got my loyalty," said Brown. "I can't say anything other than that."
As Joe Burrow said during the playoffs, trash talk is just part of the game. It's part of what makes the game fun.
The Chiefs and the Bengals have plenty of respect for each other. The heated back and forth only happens because of the passion of the players and coaches going to battle each week.
