The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books for the Dallas Cowboys. In total, the team picked nine players, four on offense and five on defense.

The Cowboys walk away from the Draft with some major needs that still need to be addressed, particularly at wide receiver but the front office did what it usually does in April: Trust their board and go by best player available.

Below is the entire Cowboys draft class as well as some thoughts on each player.

Round 1, Pick 12 overall: Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

At 6-foot-5, Tyler Booker started at Alabama for two years, primarily at left guard. A mauler in the run game and a proven pass protector, Booker wasn't as hyped as a prospect because of his position. Booker may not have upside at tackle but the Cowboys expect him to be a Day 1 starter, presumably at right guard.

"When it's all said and done there's a real possibility he is the best offensive lineman taken in the 2025 NFL Draft," draft expert Destin Adams writes about Booker. "He's going to make an immediate impact as a starting guard, and he's going to make a GM look very smart."

Round 2, Pick 44 overall: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Though Ezeiruaku's size isn't prototypical, he was able to produce in Boston College—16.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss last season—because of his well-polished technique. He can start in Year 1 and at the very least will be heavily involved when the defense wants to get after the quarterback.

"Donovan Ezeiruaku is one of the most gifted pass rushers in this class with arguably the best bend and elite quickness flying off the line of scrimmage," draft expert AJ Schulte wrote in his scouting report

Round 3, Pick 76 overall: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina

Revel Jr. is a classic Cowboys pick. If it wasn't for injury concerns, Revel Jr. might've been picked in the first round of the Draft. Team orthopedist Dr. Dan Cooper Jr. spearheaded the cornerback's surgery and rehab and team officials have been told the East Carolina product should be ready to go by training camp.

His size, length, speed, and physicality in press coverage project him as an NFL starter.

Round 5, Pick 149 overall: Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas

In Jaydon Blue, the Cowboys are getting a player that was once regarded as the top running back recruit in the nation. The undersized running back makes up for his build with top-notch explosion. In each of his last two seasons with the Longhorns, he averaged over five yards per attempt.

Ball security must improve and there are question marks about durability as a result of his size, but you never know where he can break one to the end zone and the Cowboys get some home run ability in him

Round 5, Pick 152 overall: Shemar James, LB, Florida

James is another example of the Cowboys targeting players with strong leadership and quality character under Brian Schottenheimer. But he's also an athletic player with upside as he's only 20 years old.

"He had a great year, team captain, three down player, can play on third down, he’s loose, can match in coverage, good special teams player, and obviously smart," Gators coach Billy Napier said earlier in the year.

Round 6, Pick 204 overall: Ajani Cornelius, OG, Oregon

Though Cornelius started at tackle at the collegiate level, expect him to move to guard with the Cowboys.

"Cornelius routinely delivers powerful blows with his hands, jarring defenders mid-rush, and generates plenty of movement in the run game," A to Z Sports' draft expert AJ Schulte writes about the former Ducks lineman. "He isn't the most powerful tackle in this class, but he's a stout, physical player."

Round 7, Pick 217 overall: Jay Toia, DT, UCLA

The Cowboys needed defensive tackle depth and they're getting it with Toia. A big-sized nose tackle, Toia needs to evolve his game to be more than a space-eater but he's got the traits to become a starter down the road.

Round 7, Pick 239 overall: Phil Mafah, RB, Clemson

Mafah is a physical running back that punishes defenders with this power and strength. A shoulder injury negatively impacted his play at the end of the 2024 season and he would love to be faster but he can carve out a role thanks to his ability to run between the tackles.

Round 7, Pick 247 overall: Tommy Akingbesote, DT,  Maryland

Via Dane Brugler from The Athletic: "Overall, Akingbesote has unquestionable talent, especially for his size, but he was more of a cog in the machine than a difference-maker that jumped off the tape or the stat sheet."
