3 Broncos players to watch in Week 2 matchup against the Colts
- QB Bo Nix: Nix struggled throughout the first regular-season contest in a low-scoring affair that saw the team win 20-12 against the Tennessee Titans. Nix understands he and the offense need to be better, as he was one of the lowest graded quarterbacks from Week 1. According to Pro Football Focus, he earned a 40.5 overall grade which Last year, many wrote off Nix, and he wound up getting hot down the stretch. After a rocky performance in Week 1, look for Nix to try and bounce back with a stellar performance against the Colts.
- RB RJ Harvey: Harvey has a ton of hype around him, and it’s not hard to see why. His explosiveness was on full display, even if the offense was sputtering against the Titans. In fact, Harvey ranked third among running backs in total yards after contact. While most of that came from his 50-yard run, you could see the vision of why he was drafted. With J.K. Dobbins and Harvey being the two lead backs, look for Harvey to make his presence felt. Perhaps we’ll even see him score his first NFL touchdown this season.
- CB Pat Surtain: Surtain showed that he’s more than ready for the challenges in 2025. Already in midseason form, Surtain eliminated Calvin Ridley from the contest. He broke up the only pass that came his way, allowing no catches on the day. He’s a superstar on the defense, and all eyes are going to be on Surtain to shut down the weapons for Indianapolis. From just one contest, he looks more than ready for the upcoming game.
