The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have a ton of history but haven't really played an abnormal amount of games against one another. But, they will now have played two Super Bowls against one another after next weekend. And, to add even more to the chaos, the Philadelphia Eagles are Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid's old stomping grounds.

So, yeah, they know one another pretty well. In fact, they are more than prepared to face one another. So much so that the Philadelphia Eagles are doing things out of the norm to prepare for legendary tight end Travis Kelce.

Eagles are prepping for Kelce in a bizarre but smart way

A tweet was recently posted and it had somewhat of a familiar face in it if some of you have been following the NFL for a while now. Does everyone remember former Eagles tight end Brent Celek? Most Eagles fans would probably call him a legend to their fan base and certainly a fan favorite.

Brent Celek was a tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2007 to 2017, drafted in the fifth round out of Cincinnati. Over his 11-year career, he played in 175 games, starting 132, and caught 398 passes for 4,998 yards with 31 touchdowns. Known for his durability, he only missed one game.

Celek was crucial in the playoffs too, with 27 receptions for 257 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. He played a significant role in the Eagles' Super Bowl LII win in 2018, even if he didn't catch any passes, his blocking was key. Celek was valued for his versatility as both a receiver and blocker and for his leadership. After retiring, he joined the Eagles' staff as a personnel consultant.

He was drafted by Andy Reid and Brett Veach when they were in Philly in 2007. And, he played under Reid for six seasons.

And now he is acting as Travis Kelce in practice. Honestly, it's kind of a smart idea. But, we will see how it pans out, because remember, Travis Kelce is the greatest tight end of all time.
