The Indianapolis Colts are hitting the road for their first away matchup of the year to take on their AFC South rivals, the Tennessee Titans. Ahead of the matchup, both teams have announced their offical inactive players. One look at the lists and you can see one side of this matchup has a clear advantage when it comes to the health of their active rosters.

Colts Week 3 inactives

The Colts’ injury report throughout the week grew to appear very long. Following Friday’s practice, though, the team made it aware that every player on the report was trending in the right direction. And their inactives today prove that to be correct, with no player on their 53-man roster missing this game due to injury.

Their most notable inactive is 2025 second-round pick JT Tuimoloau being a healthy scratch for the second time this year. With Laiatu Latu back, the team is having the rookie back to where he began the season in Week 1. Having your second-round pick not be able to even dress is less than ideal for the Colts. And with their edge room struggling to generate much pressure at all to start the year, it says something that they still don’t feel Tuimoloau is ready to be out on the field.

Titans Week 3 inactives

The Titans don’t have the same injury luck as the Colts this week. With them having multiple starters missing today’s game due to injuries, they are dealing with it. A name not on their inactives is DT T’Vondre Sweat, who seemed to be tracking to play early in the week, but suffered a setback that landed him on the IR. So no whe will miss todays game and atleast the next three.

On top of Sweat, the Titans are going to be without multiple starters toda,y including right tackle JC Latham, right guard Kevin Zeitler, and outside CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. The right side of the Titans’ offensive line is going to be vulnerable with backups getting the start, and the Colts would be wise to attack them early and often. I would like to see both Latu and DeForest Buckner get sent on that side throughout the game, and with Lou Anarumo in charge, I have no doubt we will see stunts utilized to make that right side as uncomfortable as possible.
