In the newest episode of "The Football Room," James Foster turned back the clock to the 2023 NFL Draft.

After watching their rookie seasons, we re-graded the first 16 picks in the first round.

Which included the Indianapolis Colts selection of Anthony Richardson as the fourth pick. This article will share how we graded the pick, as well as some of what we had to say about Richardson.

James Foster: B-

"A tough player to put a letter grade to, when they barely play at all. If anything, I would just give them an incomplete. I did go with a B-, but I can kinda see being higher on him than that. Anthony Richardson was a player I was really high on as a prospect, and I think he has so much upside."

Destin Adams: A

"I gave this pick an A, the reason for that being because if we did a redraft, he's gone by now. If we redrafted this class I think he's gone before this pick. I feel like if you redraft this class Stroud (CJ) goes one, and Richardson is next off the board at two."

As James mentioned, Richardson is such a hard player to grade during his rookie season. The sample size is so small, with him only playing two complete games and then half of the other two during his rookie campaign. But the flashes of his overall skill and potential are evident. Even with the injury, I think the Colts would make the same pick without question. And even with only playing in four games, I think many around the league have high expectations for the second-year QB.

Make sure to check out the rest of what myself and James had to say about Richardson and the rest of the first half of the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft by checking out the episode now.
