Colts rookie CB Micah Abraham
Abraham received a 92.2 grade from PFF, the second-highest grade of any Colts player and the highest rating of any rookie in the NFL. Here are other rookies who played at least 15 snaps compared to Abraham.
- Micah Abraham: 92.2
- Rico Payton: 91.7
- Maema Njongmeta: 91.5
- Amari Gainer: 90.6
- Josh Newton: 90.5
- Duke Clemens: 90.1
- Jacoby Windmon: 90.0
- Tyrice Knight: 89.9
- Jamie Sheriff: 89.6
- Nate Wiggins: 89.2
The highlight of the game for Abraham came after he forced and recovered a fumble and then returned it for a touchdown during the third quarter. What makes Abraham's high grade even more impressive is that it isn't only because of that play. He played the eighth most snaps of any Colts defender with 35, and he graded out as the best-run defender of any CB in the NFL last week with an elite 96.8 grade. This was nearly six points higher than second place, which was Jason Maitre of the Miami Dolphins, who earned a 90.9 run defense grade. Abraham is now on the minds of all Colts fans as they anxiously wait to see if he can put up another stellar performance during the team's second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
