The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a significant win in Week 1, where they dominated the Miami Dolphins from the opening kickoff to the final whistle. This resulted in them having one of the most convincing wins from the Week 1 slate by a score of 33-8.

They now find themselves preparing for the next opponent on their schedule, which is the Denver Broncos in Week 2. They were able to have one of the cleaner injury reports in Week 1, but sadly, that hasn’t been the case ahead of this matchup.

The only player who ended up missing the team’s season opener due to injury was backup RB Tyler Goodson. This week, they appear to be on the verge of having to rule multiple players out due to injuries. Charvarius Ward remains in concussion protocol and has yet to practice, and on Thursday, he yet again did not practice. Another starter joined him, watching on the sideline due to an injury, though.

That player is the team’s top edge rusher, Laiatu Latu, who suffered a hamstring injury. Injury during Wednesday’s practice forced him to be a limited participant. And on Thursday, he saw his status downgraded to not practicing at all. As things stand, both players seem like long shots to play in Week 2, which is a massive blow to a Colts defense coming off a dominant showing in Week 1.
