Finding words to describe the talent Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has is no easy feat.

When your as great as he is, everybody who's ever touched or watched football can only marvel at his ability.

Well, one 49ers vet tried his best to find the words to describe Mahomes, but it may have backfired:

Tashaun Gipson Inadvertently Calls Out Chiefs WRs

"Anytime you got 15 [Patrick Mahomes] at the helm, he can make anybody…he can make my mailman catch for 700 yards, all you gotta do is catch the ball," said Gipson when asked to describe the greatness of Patrick Mahomes.

An inside joke for the uninitiated, anybody who has followed the Chiefs knows pass catching hasn't been the offense's strong suit this season, with the team recording a league-leading 44 drops.

So maybe Gipson knew what he was doing and is trying to play mind games ahead of the Super Bowl.

Anything to get an edge in the big game will help, as Gipson knows SF will take all they can get vs. Mahomes.
