One of the biggest brands in the world sends subtle shots at Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes after loss to Eagles in Super Bowl LIX

There's no need for me to come here and continue to talk about how badly the Kansas City Chiefs got beat down by the Philadelphia Eagles. That was more than a beat down, actually, but you get the point — the Chiefs were out-manned, out-matched, out-coached, and everything in between. That's the worst beatdown they have ever had, maybe even worse than the Super Bowl loss the Chiefs suffered to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a few years ago.

But, like I said, you don't need me here to continue to harp on just how bad it was. This game is a very low point in many fans' hearts, and many of the player's hearts, and I bet stings a lot of the players. Even guys like Patrick Mahomes, who have lost Super Bowls before, are going through it. He played the worst game of his life on the biggest stage while trying to go for a three-peat.

So, why would a national brand, one of the biggest in the world, attack Mahomes via commercial after the game? He already got beat down enough, and now you have brands that are jealous they don't have Mahomes signed, attacking him because he lost.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes has a commercial aimed at him

We all know Patrick Mahomes is a three-stripe gang, as the kids say, till he dies. He's an Adidas athlete, has his own logo, his own shoes, and even has his own Texas Tech uniform with his logo on it, similar to how schools use the Jordan brand logo.

And, some brands, like Nike, hate that they didn't ever have a shot at signing Mahomes. If they did, he would be their biggest football athlete by far. So, after the Super Bowl loss, they created a commercial aimed at him, full of nothing but hatred.

The commercial is about the Eagles winning the Super Bowl, which they deserve to have a commercial about themselves, they won the Super Bowl. But, the commercial is narrated by Kermit the Frog, a well know muppet character that has often been compared to Patrick Mahomes when it comes to the two voices.

I think everyone can see this commercial is aimed at Mahomes. But, hey, that's what happens when you become the villain.
