Chiefs made it known they were interested in WR Odell Beckham Jr.
The Chiefs made it known they were interested, and why wouldn’t they be.
The Kansas City Chiefs made it pretty known that they were interested in one of the biggest receivers the world knows. He is one of the top players in the free agency class, and frankly, he is one of the best.
The Chiefs will likely be losing Mecole Hardman in free agency. Sure, they could bring him back, but it's looking like he may end up somewhere else, and that's fine.
The Chiefs had him for just eight games last season and still won the Super Bowl. It's no shot at Hardman, but it's obvious the Chiefs didn't need him last season.
They feel that Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore could fill in for Hardman, and, there is the possibility of signing Odell Beckham Jr. I mean, they did make it known they were interested.
Beckham Jr. hosted a private workout so teams could see how he performs after his big injury. Among the teams in Arizona were the Panthers, Giants, Patriots, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns, and Ravens, per Jonathan Jones.
The Chiefs are obviously interested, or why else would they go all the way to Arizona to watch him practice? Not only that, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind adding a guy like Beckham Jr. to the squad to help their receiver core for next season.
We don't know exactly what Beckham is after his injury, but if he is anything like what he used to be, he and Patrick Mahomes would be an elite duo.
This situation will definitely be one to monitor during the free agency period.
