The first round of the 2024 NFL draft is officially in the books.

After a trade-up to acquire Texas WR Xavier Worthy on Day 1, the Chiefs sent off a trio of draft picks and received a trio from the Buffalo Bills in return. But which new picks do the Chiefs have control of following the trade with Rounds 2 and 3 in the on-deck circle?

  • Round 1: No. 28 overall: Texas WR Xavier Worthy
  • Round 2: No. 64 overall:

  • Round 1: No. 32
  • Round 3: No. 95
  • Round 7: No. 221

The Chiefs have six picks left to make in 2024, but no picks in Round 3 or Round 6 of the draft. They have a ton of draft capital to move around and be selective with their choices, which should be expected given Brett Veach's history. In 2022, Brett Veach made a whopping 10 selections, good for the most he's ever made in a single draft. He's selected just six players on four occasions (2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021). During the 2023 NFL draft, Veach made a total of seven selections, with one pick in each round.
