The Kansas City Chiefs' schedule for the 2024 NFL season has officially been revealed.

We now know exactly when the Chiefs will play their opponents in 2024, and this schedule presents a unique set of challenges. How could things play out for the Chiefs if they're to make it to the playoffs in their quest to three-peat in Super Bowl LIX?

Here are some quick-hitting way-too-early game-by-game score predictions.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Week 1: Chiefs vs. Ravens – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Thursday, Sept. 5

Chiefs win 30-21: A rematch of the AFC Championship Game and one of the season's toughest games straight out of gate. This will be a big test for a Steve Spagnuolo defense that won't have L'Jarius Sneed or Charles Omenihu (ACL). It'll also be a big test for an offense with many new pieces, including former Ravens draft pick Hollywood Brown. This game comes down to offensive execution and I think the Chiefs are poised to be sharp.

Week 2: Chiefs vs. Bengals – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Sunday, Sept. 15

Chiefs win 37-30 (OT): The Bengals are arguably the team's biggest conference rival outside of the Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati has seen more recent success against the Chiefs. I think the big thing about this game will be the rest advantage that Kansas City has over the Bengals. They'll have 10 days off after playing on Thursday in Week 1. That'll give them adequate time to study tape, but also for their bodies to adjust to the rigors of the NFL season.

Week 3: Chiefs @ Falcons (SNF) – Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Sunday, Sept. 22

Chiefs win 28-22: The Falcons spent a lot of resources figuring out the quarterback position this offseason. They should be better with Kirk Cousins at the helm, but they also will have a limited ceiling. It's like the Alex Smith years in Kansas City — They’ll only go as far as their weapons and defense take them. At this point of the season, I don't trust that to be enough.

Week 4: Chiefs @ Chargers – SoFi Stadium – Sunday, Sept. 29

Chiefs win 31-23: Everyone knows Patrick Mahomes is an NFL demigod during September. This game is early enough in the season that the Chargers could still be going through some growing pains on offense and defense with new personnel, a new playbook, and new schemes. The Chiefs take advantage of those things early on.

Week 5: Chiefs vs. Saints (MNF) – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Monday, Oct. 7

Chiefs win 28-16: Dennis Allen and Derek Carr? What is this 2013? Andy Reid's Chiefs had a 3-1 record against the Raiders from 2013-2014 when those two were in Oakland. I like this Saints team better, but I still think Kansas City reminds those in New Orleans that this duo won't get them far.

Week 6: BYE

This is the earliest bye week of the Patrick Mahomes era. The previous earliest was Week 8 during the 2022 NFL season. The last time they had an earlier bye week was the 2016 NFL season when their bye week came in Week 5.

Week 7: Chiefs @ 49ers – Levi's Stadium – Sunday, Oct. 20

49ers win 37-34:  Andy Reid is the best coach in the NFL coming out of a bye week, but the cards are stacked against him here. The Niners are due for a win against Kansas City. The Chiefs have won the last four head-to-head matchups, including Super Bowl LIV and Super Bowl LVIII. This will be an emotional game for the 49ers on their home turf. Both teams should be playing their best at this juncture, making it a close game.

Week 8: Chiefs @ Raiders – Allegiant Stadium – Sunday, Oct. 27

Raiders win 24-17: The Raiders have never beaten the Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium before. No head coach-quarterback combo has more wins in that stadium than Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. I expect that this game will be circled on Antonio Pierce's calendar and they'll make winning it a priority.

Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield.

Week 9: Chiefs vs. Buccaneers (MNF) – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Monday, Nov. 4

Buccaneers win 41-40: I'm expecting this game to be one of those wacky high-scoring games where both teams look unstoppable and it comes down to a few key mistakes. After back-to-back losses, I think the Chiefs will be the team with the silly mistake. Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes relive their classic Texas Tech – Oklahoma battle in 2016, and unfortunately, the results end the same for Mahomes.

Week 10: Chiefs vs. Broncos – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Sunday, Nov. 10

Chiefs win 28-3: The Chiefs get back on track against a division rival after a multi-game skid. Steve Spagnuolo’s defense is unkind to rookie quarterbacks and in the confines of Arrowhead Stadium, it could be a rude awakening for Bo Nix.

Week 11: Chiefs @ Bills –  Highmark Stadium – Sunday, Nov. 17

Chiefs win 37-27: The Bills are in a bit of a retooling phase this offseason. While Josh Allen will always make them a competitive opponent and they should be gelling at this juncture of the season, I think Kansas City will pull away in the fourth quarter and gets another win on the road in Buffalo.

Week 12: Chiefs @ Panthers – Sunday, Nov. 24

Chiefs win 41-7: The Panthers still might be the worst team in football, assuming things don’t magically click for former No.1 overall pick Bryce Young. If they don't come up with a solution at quarterback by Week 12, this might be the biggest shellacking on the Chiefs’ schedule.

Week 13: Chiefs vs. Raiders – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Friday, Nov. 29

Chiefs win 29-21: The Chiefs and Raiders put on a show on Christmas Day last year, so the NFL hopes they can recreate some of that magic. I think the Chiefs will have that Christmas Day loss on their mind heading into this one and they'll be prepared even coming off of a rout in Carolina.

Week 14: Chiefs vs. Chargers (SNF) – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Sunday, Dec. 8

Chargers win 29-17: Even with extra preparation time for Kansas City, I think Jim Harbaugh will have his team playing much better at this point of the year. They'll take a few more chances during the primetime matchup and catch the Chiefs by surprise before one of the tougher stretches of their schedule.

Week 15: Chiefs @ Browns – Cleveland Browns Stadium – Sunday, Dec. 15

Chiefs win 31-21: Deshaun Watson was supposed to be Patrick Mahomes’ biggest rival. Now, there are questions about whether he can recapture the same luster he had in Houston. This game leaves no doubt.

Week 16: Chiefs vs. Texans – GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium – Saturday, Dec. 21

Chiefs win 35-31: The Texans are still a young football team from a personnel and coaching standpoint. CJ Stroud barely gets outdueled by Patrick Mahomes in this one, but they'll learn from this game and perhaps use it to their advantage should a rematch occur in the playoffs.

Week 17: Chiefs @ Steelers – Acrisure Stadium – Wednesday, Dec. 25

Chiefs win 24-16: Short rest is no problem if this is a snow game. It's an outdoor stadium in December and Patrick Mahomes considers himself, "a snow game guy." Isiah Pacheco should also be heavily involved in this one because no one will want to tackle that man in the cold December temperatures.

Week 18:  Chiefs @ Broncos – Empower Field at Mile High Stadium – TBD

Chiefs win 28-24: Hopefully, the Chiefs will have locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and this will be nothing more than Carson Wentz and a squad filled with backups getting some action ahead of the playoffs. Either way, expect a clean sweep as the Broncos build their team.

Chiefs' final record: 13-4

Last year, 11-6 was enough to get the job done for Kansas City. This season, I think they have the potential to have some better luck with some of the opponents on their schedule. Dropping a pair of AFC West games as the division improves shouldn't come as a surprise. Coming out with three wins in 10 days and defeating perennial AFC threats like Baltimore, Buffalo and Cincinnati should strike fear into the rest of the league en route to a third consecutive Super Bowl title.
