Sure, the Kansas City Chiefs are the Super Bowl champions and are looking to defend that title in 2023. However, when it comes to the weather, they have been losing that battle as of late.

In the last week or so, they have had their fair share of indoor practices, much more than they would like to. However, bad weather happens, and there isn't really anything anyone can do about it, even though the coaches would much rather be outside.

The Chiefs have one of the harder training camps, as it has been well-documented that Andy Reid doesn't play around this time of year. However, some of the weather sometimes prevented them from practicing to their full potential.

"Yeah, so as long as there's no lightning, it's all good," Reid said of the rain. "We'll come out and work. And somewhere that will pay off for you down the road, just [adjusting] footing, grabbing, you know, grasping the football, catching the football. I mean, all those things, both sides of the ball and special teams. So we've had a little bit of rain. It's good for the farmers."

While everyone is worried about getting rained on, the Chiefs are working. Not to mention you have Andy Reid saying it's good for the farmers. It was a funny moment during the media availability where no one really expected Reid to say that.

You would think a football coach who loves being outside would take a different approach. One is where he is mad at the weather because his guys can't get work in.

Nope, Reid is thankful the rain is going to help the farmers.
