The Kansas City Chiefs have this weird habit of playing to the strengths of their opponents at times during the season. Sometimes it's the beginning of the season, sometimes, like now, it's the end of the season.

Not only did they do it last week against the Denver Broncos, but they also did it on Sunday against the Houston Texans, the worst team in all of football.

The Chiefs should have blown this team out, but what is a Sunday without some funny football? It wouldn't be a game with the Chiefs in it if it wasn't weird.

Head coach Andy Reid didn't seem to like how the game was played either. His description is absolutely perfect, as Reid sounds like all of us.

“It was a weird game," Reid told reporters after the game.

I genuinely think anyone who watched the game, whether Chiefs or Texans fans, thought the same thing. Some fans of the Texans must have thought they were going into the game expecting to get blown out, as did the Chiefs, and it didn't work out that way.

The Chiefs do this all of the time. I mean, Denver last week, Indianapolis in Week 3, and of course the Raiders, Jaguars, and Titans. All of those games were much closer than they should have been.

Hopefully, that was their last weird game of the season, as the Chiefs still have to play three opponents that they should beat pretty handily.
