Andy Reid gives update on changes to Chiefs coaching staff
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid gave an update o where the coaching staff stands with the recent promotion of Matt Nagy.
The Kansas City Chiefs have had more movement on their staff than they have had in the last five years. They lost their offensive coordinator, in a mutual decision of course, to the Washington Commanders.
Then they promoted quarterback coach Matt Nagy to offensive coordinator, who had the position in 2017. So, his former position is open.
On Tuesday during the media availability hour of the NFL Combine, Andy Reid explained what changes have been made, and just gave an overall update.
Reid let everyone know that he interviewed Marcus Brady and Pep Hamilton for the offensive coordinator role. He also told the media David Girardi will be promoted from Chiefs pass game analyst and assistant quarterbacks coach to Chiefs' quarterbacks coach.
The Chiefs are almost all set for training camp now when it comes to the staff.
