The Kansas City Chiefs escaped the 31-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders without sustaining any serious injuries. A few players left during the course of the game, but no injury was serious enough that a player was unable to finish the game.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid, now the winningest coach in franchise history, updated reporters on the injury situation following the game. He noted that three players were dealing with injuries, but that nothing was "too serious."

"We have a couple of injuries, but nothing too serious right now," Reid told reporters. "Skyy Moore tweaked his left knee. Donovan Smith came out (of the game) just for a little bit with a stinger. Trey Smith hurt his foot right at the end there, but all of them should be OK."

All three players are still being evaluated, but as things currently stand, it looks like major injuries were avoided.

Trey Smith seems to have injured himself late in the game, while Donovan Smith injured himself earlier and was able to return to action. The latter was replaced briefly by Wanya Morris, who for the second time this season, looked good filling in for the veteran offensive tackle.

Moore caught 3-of-3 passes for 34 yards in the win, so the knee clearly didn't hamper him too much.

Reid did not provide an update on CB Trent McDuffie, who briefly left the game following a tough play in coverage against Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers. He returned and finished the game, but seemed shaken up on that particular play.

Having as few injuries as possible after a win like this would be incredibly good for this Chiefs team. They desperately need to build some positive momentum on the offensive side of the ball in consecutive weeks. They'll look to do that with a road game against the Green Bay Packers on deck in Week 13.
