The NFL world has hated the Kansas City Chiefs coming into this year. I think we can all pretty much remember at the beginning of the year, most national media members had the Chiefs on the outside looking in, in terms of playoffs.

This was the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos' year to finally dethrone the Chiefs.

How did that work out for them? Not very good obviously.

The Chiefs are now 9-2, which is the second-best record in the NFL behind the Philadelphia Eagles, who also put on a show on Sunday Night Football.

Even with that record, I can already tell people still aren't sold in Kansas City. New narratives are being formed about them that honestly shouldn't be. It's the same thing that the Eagles are currently getting.

Easy schedule, they will say. But the schedule hasn't really been easy. And even if it was, this team plays one of the harder schedules every single year, so give them a break.

But really, that will be what the national media says that really has no clue what they are talking about. But the reality is, the Chiefs are playing against some good teams.

“No, listen, they did a good job," Reid said of the Rams. "We’re not playing a JV team, that defense is one (of the) top 10 defense(s), so it’s not like they’re not good. So, they did a nice job against us.

"And that’s all part of it, but in between red zones there, we sure moved the ball well. But, a lot of good things happened there.”

The Rams have had a terrible year, I agree. That doesn't mean that they don't have the ability to beat anyone though. This is the Super Bowl defending champions.

They beat the team in the Super Bowl that the Chiefs really couldn't last season on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The defense is still very, very good coached by Raheem Morris who is very good at his job. Not to mention stars like Aaron Donald, the best in the game, Jalen Ramsey, the best in the game, and Bobby Wagner, who was once the best in the game, and is still very good.

I will never understand why people can't just come to the realization that the Chiefs are legit, without Tyreek Hill, and that's okay.

Look at the Dolphins, they are playing great with Tyreek Hill and are riding the Chiefs' tail for that first-place spot in the AFC. It's okay for both sides to be doing fine without one another. Instead, the media has to try and create narratives that the Chiefs have an easy schedule in 2022.

I think we and Reid know, that is not the case.

I guess that's just what comes with being good for 10 straight seasons, or rather 10 straight winning seasons I should say for coach Reid.
