The Kansas City Chiefs are in no way in as bad of a cap situation as some other teams are, like the Buccaneers who are $54 million over the cap, but they are over a little bit, $450 thousand. So, that means moves need to be made.

One potential move that is being thrown out there is the potential cutting of Chiefs' legend Frank Clark. And yes, I say legend when you put into perspective what he has done.

Two Super Bowl wins with the Chiefs, all while being the best defensive player in the postseason nearly every season. He is top three in postseason sacks in NFL history.

But, that is a real idea that is being thrown out there. Even with one more year on his deal, Clark would save the Chiefs $8 million if he were cut. But, if the Chiefs were to replace him via the draft, their first-round pick would cost them roughly $2.25 million.

It's a decision that will have to be made – to keep or to cut, and a lot of people will be upset if it happens.

Andy Reid took time to show his gratitude towards Clark on Tuesday during the NFL Combine media availability.

"Yeah, So, I actually talked to him, at the parade, so that's where I ended up talking," Reid told reporters. "He had to do some stuff for the actual exit physical, but I had a good talk with him. I love Frank Clark. It's just, you know, just got to juggle all these different, different things going on and, but, you know, Frank is, is top notch. I love him. I love him to death."

All of Chiefs Kingdom loves Frank "the shark" Clark, and if it had to be done, everyone, or most of everyone, would be sad to see him go. But, it's something that may just happen.
