Just when teams think they may be able to get an advantage on the Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid shut it down real quick.
As we all know by now, the Chiefs' superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes is about to be featured in a new Netflix docuseries detailing his everyday life, as well as two other quarterbacks, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota.
Doing something like this means he will be miked up 24/7, besides one time. Andy Reid shut down the possibility of Mahomes being miked up during their meetings, as he should have.
Peyton Mannings' production company, Omaha Productions, produced the series.
"It was very telling," Manning said. "Here you've got the best player in the NFL right now, that could probably say, 'This is what I'm doing; I don't care whether you like it or not.' Instead, he wants me to ask his head coach for permission. There's a trust factor. I promised all these guys that anything they didn't want in it wasn't gonna be in it."
That's smart of Reid because, as we all know, every team is now trying to build a team to beat the Chiefs. Letting them in on the things the Chiefs do, is the worsts thing that could happen. Reid was smart by saying no.
This doesn't mean he won't have some appearances in the series because he will. I mean, come on, you can't leave big red out.
