Chiefs in territory they haven't been before, but could still get out come January

The Kansas City Chiefs are now in unfamiliar territory after their big loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
I know, I know. This loss sucks. It feels like the 2021-2022 season all over again. However, this one doesn't have as bad of implications as the last time they lost to the Bengals.
But, the Chiefs are in unfamiliar territory, and we need to address it. For some reason, this team just can't win in Cincinnati, or beat the Bengals at all, for that matter.
First of all, let's start with this. Patrick Mahomes had yet to lose to one quarterback three times before this game. Now he has to Joe Burrow.
As much as Chiefs fans will hate to admit it, the Bengals have their number and are just the better team as of late. I mean, one time and you can say some things just didn't go their way. Two games and you could say the Chiefs had bad games. But three, and I think it's time to say the Bengals are just better.
That isn't the only unfamiliar territory the Chiefs are in. Remember when everyone was talking about the Chiefs not losing in November or December? Like, as in they were on a huge win streak in those months, and Mahomes had never lost a game in those months or at least hadn't lost since his first season as a starting quarterback.
Well, now, the Chiefs have entered a realm in which they have only been once with Patrick Mahomes as the starting quarterback. They have now lost their first game in December since 2018.
Oh, and one other thing. The Chiefs have now lost seven straight games in Cincinnati, dating back to 1984 as the last time they won in the Queen City of Cincy. They have also lost to the Bengals now three straight times.
But that last one could change by January, as this likely won't be the last time the Chiefs and Bengals go head-to-head in the 2022 season.
