For the Kansas City Chiefs, they are doing what they always do, which is absolutely kill the offseason. If that was a competition – to see who could make the best decisions in the offseason – the Chiefs would easily be winning that too.

They addressed every need so far, besides their wide receiver issue, whereas they are looking to either add more depth or go get a number one guy. That, and they have yet to really get a decent backup quarterback to replace what Chad Henne brought to the team, and they still need to replace right tackle, Andrew Wylie.

But, don't let that overshadow the amazing signings they had. They got cheap steals in Drue Tranquill at linebacker and Mike Edwards at safety. But they also got their left tackle of the future in Jawaan Taylor, who is being looked at by an ESPN analyst as the best overall signing in all of free agency so far.

Eric Moody: OT Jawaan Taylor to the Kansas City Chiefs. The soon-to-be 25-year-old is entering his prime and is expected to play left tackle for Kansas City. The Chiefs will probably address the right side of their offensive line at next month's draft, but providing the top quarterback in the game with blindside protection is never a bad idea. Taylor was one of the best tackles available on the market.

The Chiefs were bound to lose Orlando Brown Jr. and the task of replacing him with another great left tackle was going to be difficult, whether it be through the draft or through free agency. Luckily, they were able to replace Brown Jr. with another great guy for the position.

Taylor was great for the Jaguars, and never missed a game in his time there. He is durable, young, and pretty good. He will fit in perfectly with the Chiefs and what they like to do. The only question is if he can play left tackle since he has played right tackle his whole career.

Other than that, the Chiefs knocked it out of the park.
