The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are set to square off at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri for Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season.

This AFC conference rivalry goes way back, with these two storied franchises meeting 53 times since 1960. The Bills currently lead the overall with a 28-24-1 lead, but their recent success against the Chiefs has mostly come in the regular season. Whereas Kansas City has had two postseason victories over Buffalo since 2021.

This game might as well be a playoff game as the Bills are fighting for their playoff lives and the Chiefs are doing their best to not drop four of their last six games.

Here's a quick breakdown of the inactive players for this evening's game.

Chiefs inactive players:

  • OT Donovan Smith
  • LB Drue Tranquill
  • RB Isiah Pacheco
  • CB Nic Jones
  • DT Neil Farrell Jr.
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • DL Malik Herring

Bills inactive players:

  • DE Kingsley Jonathan
  • G Germain Ifedi
  • T Alec Anderson
  • DT Poona Ford
  • S Damar Hamlin

Observations:

With Wanya Morris making his first career start, this will be the first new starting offensive line combination that the Chiefs have had this season.

Both RB Deneric Prince and S Deon Bush (standard elevations via the practice squad) will be active.

The Chiefs made OG Mike Caliendo active because they didn't have a choice. The NFL requires that teams have eight offensive linemen active on game day.

Buffalo is quite healthy right now with all 53 players on their roster available for Week 14.
