One of the Kansas City Chiefs' biggest rivals has a player that is really starting to get on Patrick Mahomes' nerves.

The Chiefs have beaten the Broncos 15 times in a row, which is impressive, to say the least. The Broncos haven't been the best team, but the funny thing is that they always give the Chiefs a run for their money, despite not having won a game against their rival since 2016.

This last year, the Chiefs went up 27-0 in their first matchup. Most thought the game was over, as they should have, and then the Broncos had their best offensive showing of the season, as they scored 21 straight. The second game between the two in 2022 was close, too, as just three points decided it.

So, yes, the Broncos haven't been good, but they have had the ability to get under the Chiefs' skin. One player, in particular, has been really good at that for the last two years.

Patrick Surtain, who is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and the best in the league as voted by league executives, coaches, and scouts, has made Mahomes' job tough.

He is already one of four NFL players to pick off quarterback Patrick Mahomes multiple times. His 14.5% ball-hawk rate on 10.6 yards allowed per completion is modest, but teams also stay away from him now. His 12.5% target rate was the lowest among cornerbacks with more than 201 coverage snaps (Surtain played 533 coverage snaps). – Jeremy Fowler, ESPN

To be one of only four guys to pick Mahomes off twice is impressive. Mahomes is not only the best quarterback in the league, but he is constantly being compared to Tom Brady. Many people think he has a chance to be the greatest of all time when it's all said and done.

Surtain is only 23 years old. He is entering his third season, and to be where he is is pretty impressive. But we all know what happens when you piss off Mahomes; just ask Las Vegas Raiders' defensive end, Maxx Crosby.
