The Kansas City Chiefs have been playing with rookies in their secondary all season long, which is why many people have considered this season a re-tooling one for Kansas City.

But, I think we all know they are going for the gold. Having rookies in their secondary, or on the defensive line, or even running the ball doesn't hurt the Chiefs one bit.

In fact, one rookie on the Chiefs knew how to play Russell Wilson's last game based on something from college.

"I mean, yeah, he [Wilson] was right there across the street, so I kind of knew how he plays, I knew what he liked to do, because of three years being in Seattle, you know a lot about Russ," rookie corner back Trent McDuffie said. "But, it's kind of cool being on the other end of it now, you know going against someone you looked up to the past three years and watched him play, but it's all just a blessing man."

I never thought about a player knowing another's tendencies because of the two playing in the same city, one in college and one in the pros.

But, it seems McDuffie knows what Wilson likes to do.

"Deep ball. I mean, Russ calls it the moon ball. It's his favorite play, so trying to just stop that limits him a little bit," McDuffie continued.

This is a guy that will use any advantage he can over his opponent, which just shows the competitiveness of a winner, and a guy who belongs on this team.

Like we said earlier, I can't think of anyone else who would think of something like that. But, McDuffie, the rookie did.
