It may feel weird seeing a defensive back wearing No. 22 in training camp highlight reels, as seeing that safety Juan Thornhill is no longer on the team and now with the Cleveland Browns. However, second-year cornerback Trent McDuffie is no longer No. 21; he not only upped his number but his game too.

Last year, McDuffie was considered a cornerback with a very high ceiling. This year, he is being looked at as the best cornerback on the team, including better than L'Jarius Sneed.

His skill and talent level are only getting better, and in this training camp, he has shown a jump that is hard to comprehend.

He is making plays over and over again.

The team's latest highlight reels featured him making an insane instinctive play to cause a turnover.

McDuffie reached as high as he could, but not high enough to intercept it himself, and tipped a pass to his teammate to cause an interception. It was beautiful.

The Chiefs have something special in McDuffie, and it's really starting to show. He is already starting to play like a top-10 cornerback in the league.
