The Kansas City Chiefs (6-7) will face the Los Angeles Chargers (9-4) at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday, Dec. 14 at Noon CT.

This will mark the second time these two teams have met this season, with the first coming during Week 1 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Chargers got the better of the Chiefs in that game, but this week could be different for L.A., coming to Kansas City on a short week after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles on “Monday Night Football.” This is the definition of a must-win game for the Chiefs as they seek to avoid mathematical elimination and keep their playoff hopes alive.

Chiefs vs. Chargers Week 15 Broadcast Map

Will you be able to watch that game on TV? If you live in the blue areas on the map below, you’ll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

Basically, everyone west of the Missouri River will be able to watch the Chiefs-Chargers game on television. Most of Arizona and parts of Wyoming are the exceptions. The Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots game is in the red areas of the map. The green areas of the map will host the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. The yellow areas will get the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chiefs draw fan-favorite broadcast crew for Week 15

For the first time in weeks, Kansas City will get a CBS crew that isn’t Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson. This time, it’s a fan-favorite combination of Kevin Harlan (play-by-play), Trent Green (color commentary), and Melanie Collins (sideline reporter). Harlan, of course, is revered for his “I’m calling both games” moment ahead of the 2019 playoffs. Green, of course, was the Chiefs’ starting quarterback for six years from 2001 to 2006.

Despite a two-game losing streak, the Chiefs are betting favorites heading into Week 15

As things currently stand, Kansas City is a 5.5-point home favorite over Los Angeles in this game. The over-under point total is set at 41.5 points despite both quarterbacks dealing with injuries. Justin Herbert has a broken left (non-throwing) hand. Patrick Mahomes is nursing a knee injury that saw him using a heating wrap on the sideline in Week 14 vs. the Houston Texans. Those injuries might not even be the most concerning ones heading into this game.

Offensive line injuries could play a role for the Chiefs and Chargers in Week 15’s game

When I say this game could come down to which team has the better offensive line depth, I’m not joking. The injury report is littered with offensive linemen, but both teams have also lost players for the year at the offensive tackle position. The Chargers will be without both their starting left tackle, Rashawn Slater, and their starting right tackle, Joe Alt, as each player is on injured reserve. The Chiefs will be without starting left tackle Josh Simmons, who is also on injured reserve. They’re also expected to be without starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor, who is nursing a knee injury and a triceps injury. It gets worse, though. The Chiefs will be without their No. 4 offensive tackle in Wanya Morris, and the Chargers could be without the No. 3 offensive tackle in Trey Pipkins III, who is dealing with an ankle injury.
