The Kansas City Chiefs have the advantage over the Philadelphia Eagles in one main category. Sure, they do in other areas too, but there is one that matters the most, that the Eagles simply can't compare themselves to.

The quarterback position.

Patrick Mahomes is likely this year's MVP. So, it's fair to say he is better than Jalen Hurts. And, this is no shot at Hurts, who has had a great year and made wild improvements.

There are tiers when it comes to quarterbacks though, and Hurts isn't on near the same tier as Mahomes. He is that dude and he is by far the best in the league. He will be the Chiefs' biggest advantage this weekend, which makes it easier for Andy Reid.

"Yeah, so Patrick is, he's easy to be around," Reid said on Wednesday. "He wants to be the best, he strives for that every day, every rep that he has in practice, he tries to do it the best he possibly can. From a coach's standpoint, that's all you can ask. He handles himself right in the off-season.

"It's very tough in the National Football League for guys to handle the front office, the coaches, and the players and not have one jealous of the other. And, and he does that well. So he very respectful professional, grew up in a locker room because of his father, giving him that opportunity to jump in there when he was playing Major League Baseball. So, he understands the dynamic defense and how things work and, and he understands people."

Even in year five as a starter, Mahomes has gotten better. This year he showed his I.Q. is a lot better than it has ever been.

The Chiefs are on the verge of potentially starting a dynasty, and if they win this Sunday, the head of that potential dynasty, after Reid, is Mahomes. He will have his second ring in five years, possibly his second Super Bowl MVP, and his second MVP, all of that in just five seasons.

Mahomes is the advantage and Reid loves that he has a guy like him on his team.
