The 2025 NFL season has already delivered some unforgettable matchups, and it’s only Week 3!

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl LIX rematch. And while this ended the same way it did back in February, with the Eagles getting the win, this game also set new records.

Fox Sports announced that with 33.8 million viewers tuning in for America’s Game of the Week, it became the network’s best-ever regular season Sunday telecast, along with the most-watched Week 2 telecast on record. This game is officially the most-watched September/October game ever, and is the most-watched telecast of any kind since the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes vs. Jalen Hurts…. who wouldn’t want to tune in for that one?!?!?

How did Andy Reid feel about the Eagles’ controversial ‘Tush Push’ play

As expected, the Eagles ran their famous “Tush Push” several times in their Week 2 matchup. The Chiefs’ defense was able to stop it twice, but on the other times, it resulted in first downs and even one touchdown.

This offseason, the controversial play nearly got banned, but fell short by two votes. So, the Eagles got another year (at least) to keep using it. However, Andy Reid had some strong words about it on Monday.

Specifically, it had to do with missed calls he noticed during the play.

“If guys are moving early, then you’ve got to to call that,” Reid told Jesse Newell of The Athletic on Monday. “They’ll go back and look at that and see what their evaluation is. It could be different than mine. I felt like the guys were moving, that’s why I was griping about it on the sideline there with the officials. But, sometimes people see things different. So, we’ll see where it goes. They’ll have a chance to evaluate it and I’ll be curious to see what the response is.”
