Chiefs are still proving they are one of the more elite franchises
Just another one of the crazy stats the Chiefs continue to put up.
The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the most elite franchises in NFL history. Not the most, but they are up there. But when you filter in the last 10 years, they are even higher up the list, and possibly second behind the New England Patriots.
They have the stats to back it up too. Of course, we all know about the fact that they have been to five straight AFC Championship games, won three, and won two Super Bowls in four years, but there is more than that.
The day the Chiefs hired Andy Reid, on January 4, 2013, is the best day in the Chiefs organization, outside of the Super Bowls obviously. It may not be the best, but it's up there as one of the most important.
Since Reid has been with the Chiefs in 2013, they have never had a losing season. Andy Reid has made the playoffs every year as a Chiefs head coach but one year.
We knew all of that though. There is one new stat that also shows just how dominant the Chiefs have been. Since 2018, when the Chiefs started Patrick Mahomes for the first time, they have finished with double-digit wins. That's five seasons, which is more than any other team.
The Chiefs have had nine seasons with double-digit wins in the past 10 seasons. That is elite, and it shows just how elite the franchise is, along with the things they are doing.
Andy Reid has this team contenting and winning every year, and not many teams can say that. It's just another reason why they are so respected, and another reason Reid is one of the greatest coaches to ever do it.
