The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills have released their inactive player lists for the AFC Championship Game, which will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 26.

Both teams are relatively healthy heading into this game, with the Bills' lone player ruled out due to injury. That means each team has most of its players on their respective 53-man rosters available and has some key decisions to make related to personnel for the AFC title game.

With a trip to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX at stake, expect both teams to leave it all out on the field. Below is the full list of inactive players for each team. . .

Chiefs inactive players

  • OL C.J. Hanson
  • OL Ethan Driskell
  • OL Wanya Morris
  • CB Keith Taylor
  • WR Justyn Ross
  • DE Joshua Uche
  • DE Malik Herring

Bills inactive players

  • S Taylor Rapp
  • QB Mike White
  • CB Brandon Codrington
  • DT Quinton Jefferson
  • OL Ryan Van Demark
  • DT DeWayne Carter
  • C/G Sedrick Van-Pran Granger

Observations

For the second consecutive week, the Chiefs are going with rookie OL Kingsley Suamataia over Wanya Morris as their top reserve O-Lineman. Suamataia does give the team a bit more positional flexibility at guard and tackle with D.J. Humphries playing the primary swing tackle role.

As expected, the Chiefs made practice squad WR Justyn Ross inactive despite elevating him to the 53-man roster (you can read more about why here).

The Bills did not activate LB Baylon Spector from injured reserve, so he will not appear on the inactive list and will not play today. CB Christian Benford (concussion) is ACTIVE for Sunday's game.
