The Kansas City Chiefs and their fans saw something unexpected on Friday, as the final injury report of the week came out before the matchup against the Bengals.

Travis Kelce, the greatest tight end of all time and the entire offense last week after Mahomes got hurt, made an appearance on the injury report for the first time in a while.

Kelce was a full participant in practice on Friday but is questionable to play Sunday with a back injury. This is the first we have heard of it, as the entire week Mahomes' ankle has been the primary focus, not by choice but by nature.

As far as Mahomes, he is a full go to play on Sunday and has no injury designation.

This is strange because it isn't the guy we expected to see. If there was a player that we expected, it was Mahomes, especially after seeing the way Jaguars defender Arden key landed on Mahomes' leg.

The Kelce injury probably isn't a big deal in terms of something to worry about when you consider the magnitude of the game this weekend. We all know Kelce will do whatever he has to to make an appearance on Sunday.

When was the last time Kelce missed a game? Last season, Week 16 against the Steelers. Kelce has played in at least 15 games in every season of his career besides his first season.

This isn't anything to be worried about in my opinion but definitely monitor it.
