Chiefs HC doesn’t want to give the Broncos any help when it comes to fixing the franchise

It’s that time of year again when the Kansas City Chiefs are trying to make that push for the first seed, but distractions are looming. Well, we would think they would be distractions, the Chiefs don’t react to it often, until they do.
Eric Bieniemy, the Chiefs offensive coordinator and one of the master minds behind the explosive offense, is in discussion for head coaching jobs again, like he usually is at this time. Usually the team doesn’t react to any of that as they have important football to get ready for.
However, one reporter recently asked Andy Reid what he thought, as they do every year, and he had a response that sums up Bieniemy as a head coach perfectly.
"I know what he can do, I’ve said it 100 times and I haven’t changed my opinion on that,” Reid said when asked about Bieniemy and potentially being a head coach.
“I hope he gets an opportunity. I’d rather not have it in Denver, but I hope he gets an opportunity.”
While the Broncos haven’t been the best team the last few years, or even longer, I’m sure Reid knows that Bieniemy is the type of guy that could turn a team like that around.
This is a guy who is perfect with quarterbacks, and the Broncos have a quarterback that needs a coach like that, as Broncos owner Greg Penner and general manager George Paton said recently.
After going 14-0 in their last 14 matchups against the Broncos, I’m confident that if Bieniemy coached there, it wouldn’t take long for the Broncos to get their first win over the Chiefs in a while.
Bieniemy is a guy that is going to be on their radar, as he is a guy that is already pretty familiar with the city going back to his college days as a running back at Colorado University. I mean, who could blame them?
But I’m in the same boat as Reid, and I would hate to play a team coached by Bieniemy.
