When you play for the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, you have to expect that your number will be called eventually, no matter who you are. Let's not forget two years ago in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, where both Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney caught touchdown passes, and last year against the San Francisco 49ers where Mecole Hardman caught the game-winner on a play that was designed for him.

Their win over the Houston Texans in the divisional round on Saturday was just another example to add to the long list of games that Travis Kelce yet again dominated in the playoffs, as he does. This was not one of those normal games where we see role players get heavily involved. This was pretty much the greatest duo of all time being the greatest duo of all time.

This time it was DeAndre Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Hollywood Brown that didn't get a single catch.

“Obviously, you want to get those guys involved," Patrick Mahomes said after the game. "That makes your offense even better and obviously, there were times when kind of stalled out on drives so that’ll be something that we work on going into another great opponent this next week whoever that is.

"They’re a part of the offense and they know that. They’re going to keep going out there and competing. In the playoffs, you never know how it’s going to go, it’s all about finding ways to win and we found a way to win today but we’re going to have to get those guys involved if we want to get to our ultimate goal.”

The Chiefs still found a way to win, but if you told me that the three of those players wouldn't record a single catch, as well as Samaje Perine and Isaiah Pacheco not getting a catch with Kareem Hunt only getting one, and you would say they still beat the Houston Texans, it would be hard to believe.

That's just what great teams do, and that's the advantage that the Chiefs will have over any team they play, no matter who it is. They know how to win better than any team.

They will play either the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens next — whichever of those two teams wins their matchup.
